> Presentations can be made either orally (20+10 minutes) or in form of posters. > Those wishing to make Presentations should submit a single-page summary latest by December 12, 2003. Summaries and presentations may be in either Turkish or English. > The Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept or reject presentations, and to decide whether they should be made in orally or in the form of posters. > The participant will be notified of the pertinent decision latest by December 31, 2003. > All presentations (oral or poster) will be published in the Conference book. The deadline for submission of presentations is February 13, 2004. > Writers must conform to the relevant regulations. For publication, presentation texts should adhere to the following; Printed on white, A4 paper (210x297 mm), in black ink (laser printers should be preferred), in 10 point font size, single-spaced, and within an area of 155x240 mm on the paper. The title should be centered and in 12 point (bold capital letters). The letter type should be Times Roman. > The authors’ names should be centered and the name of the presenting author should be underlined. References should be numbered consecutively within the text by using brackets, such as [1], and listed at the end of the text. > Photographs should be positive glossy prints and of high contrast and all illustrations should be drawn distinctly by a good-quality pen, in black India ink on semi-opaque paper, or should be original laser printer or plotter output and attached to their proper space within text. > The presentation should be maximum 15 pages. The original master text of the presentation and two photocopies should be mailed in a wrinkle-proof envelope (A4 size). > For disk versions, Word 6.0 is preferred, but other microcomputer word processor prepared manuscripts are acceptable. Do not use desktop publishing software such as Aldus PageMaker or Quark Xpress. > All illustration files should be in TIFF or EPS formats with resolutions yielding approximately 300 ppi. Label all disks with the name of the submitting author, word processing program and version used. > For poster presentations a 70x100 cm space will be available. > Faxed presentations will not be accepted.
